Torchwood

Brian and I started watching the UK version of http://bostonist.com/2009/07/20/bostontv_the_kids_control_the_pictu.php that has already aired last night (the first two episodes) and are really enjoying them. The UK versions are always slightly different than those aired on BBC America (not edited), so we have been catching it this way for a while. We are still recording the BBC America version on the DVR to give our support to the airing it here, never fear! They didn't waste time in showing John Barrowman naked.

If you haven't been watching and are curious to pick up the series, this is a good time. Though you'll miss the back story, I think the show has been excellent in its own right.

The actor that played Ianto is going to be at a November con in Boston, and Brian and I are planning on going with our Jack and Gwen getups (we have a Ianto to follow behind with the tea set too). Is anyone else planning on going to http://www.nefanx.com/ ? It's a couple of weeks after the Woburn Halloween Parade and the weekend before Supermegafest in Framingham http://supermegafest.com/ (where I am hoping to debut my ISO outfit), so it will be a very busy fall as usual.

LOL, gotta love the generation gap. Here I am squeeing like a little girl over Leonard Nimoy.

I believe it's the actor who plays Ianto, not Owen, who's coming to NEFE.

You are correct - I was thinking Ianto but wrote Owen instead. :)

If Ianto the ferret were healthier I'd totally try to smuggle him in for a photo op :-)
