I feel like you've been down to NYC more often than I have lately. Spiderman sounds awesome from what I heard (and I heard a "bad review" of a pre-opening - but just what they are trying to achieve amazes me.)
I know you like to sew. Have you ever been to the museum at F.I.T. (or is it Parsons)? One of the fashion schools has a really cool museum with revolving exhibits on fashion.
Other than that, I was thinking I would check out the burroughs next time I go. Two years ago, I saw my best friend in Astoria and there were so many restaurants and bars in that area, at a much cheaper price than Manhattan - and while we didn't make it there, she often goes to Brooklyn to go out. We even ended up in a cool Cuban restaurant in Harlem (which I know, isn't a burrough, but it's outside of the usual midtown/downtown areas that I would end up in on my own). I wouldn't know where to go but I'm sure that's something that a Yelp or a google would answer.
