Kai did great at Storyland but we hit it at a time with no rides, and yeah, he liked the more active rides a lot more. The second year we went (late age 2) was better than the first year (late age 1).
Funny - we never mentioned any Princess stuff with Kai but his classmates do and he has become obsessed with Cinderella. Wants to watch her movie, see her in the parades (here at Disney), go to her castle, see if we can find her. he wants to marry her though, not be her. But he told me tonight he also wants to marry Captain Jack Sparrow.
But it's funny how you can be at a theme park, and they will have fun running around a fountain, balancing walking on a wall, climbing on the bars where you stand in line. :-)
Honestly I wouldn't have done Disney this young, but it's been fun, especially showing him our favorite rides. I wouldn't do it any earlier than this age though. His favorite park so far has been Legoland, which really reminds me of Storyland in its scale and the type of rides.
