What's twisted about that is that the boy's PJs do have the extra butt panel. I thought girls always had bigger butts than boys. Yes, I find the "skinny jeans" trend for little girls disturbing, especially when they are still in diapers!

I actually found a brand (Hannah Anderson) that fits better than GAP even unfortunately, it was $40 for one pair of pajamas but I couldn't resist - it was Darth Vader PJs. That was Kai's Hanukkah present that he picked out for himself.
