I'd like you all to know

That I just did my last commute into work from Framingham to Malden. Tonight I'll do my last commute home from Malden to Framingham.

Now I will do the dance of joy!

I'll have a busy day tying up loose ends before the vacation. This is so very odd - I've never been away from work for 2 weeks. I think the last time was in the summer between high school and college, and my family went camping at some state park in VT. I had 2 weeks off from my Burger King job (not paid, duh).

My how things have changed in a little over 10 years. I guess I've earned it - I'm notorious for having tons of unused vacation time. That's what paid for our kitchen remodel after I was laid off from Tufts Health Plan :)

Its delux, its delovely!

I read a review of this movie yesterday in a local "welcome to the neighborhood" paper for the Metrowest area. We've been there for 2 years but still get the Homesteader (which we were supposedly supposed to stop getting after a year). Anyway, it mentions this movie about Cole Porter.

I am going to this - opening night hopefully. It looks so pretty, and God do I love Cole Porter music. Its supposed to be a 'true to life' version of his biography where they not only emphasize the love he had for his wife, but also the love (or lust) he had for various men. Past documentaries on him tend to gloss over that fact . . .

I had so much fun in a production of "Anything Goes" where I was one of Reno Sweeny's Angels - a seductive night club singer/dancer turned evangelist named "Innocence". Heh ;) Blow Gabriel Blow, indeed!
