Good Day
My doctor's appointment for my hip went well - my PCP doesn't think there is anything majorly wrong, but I had X-Rays and have a consult on 6/1 for a PT Evaluation. She's going to e-mail me about the results of the scan.
We bought fresh pasta from the Italian store on our street for dinner (and some homemade sauce). It was $10 for some very fresh linguini w/ fresh sauce made in the morning by a sweet old Italian lady. We have some raviolis in the freezer for later. We added to it some ground meet that we had cooked and frozen before vacation (Chestnut Farms grass fed beef) and some frozen peas, heated up. It reminds me of the "pasta and peas" that Gram used to make, though she'd use shells or some kind of smaller pasta. I'm looking forward to the farmer's markets starting up again (though, there is a 'preview' market day in Waltham on Saturday).
Tonight my friend is being pinned after finishing nursing school, and Brian will be home, getting dirty in the basement. Lots to do, but I'm excited to have the day off to do it.
