?

I wore sandals out in the rain on Saturday, woke up Sunday with a sore throat, spent yesterday blowing my nose all day, last night getting sick in the bathroom and today (ta da) my first sick day since I've been at this job (I guess going 7 months and surviving the winter months without one is impressive).

I don't like feeling yucky. I can't wait till my B comes home tonight so that I can gently give him a hug.

On the positive front, I've heard back sort of on what I was waiting to hear about. All is OK, and it makes me feel schmoopy :)

What did you used to do when you were a kid to make the sick experience a bit better? My dad would usually stop at the convenience store near our house (Fells Market) and bring home one of those cheapo toys like they sell in supermarkets (you know the ones mounted on a piece of cardboard and under a clear plastic enclosure-thing).

Daytime TV sucks, but I really want to see "Tick Tick Boom", even if Joey Mac is in it.

Remember those Balsa wood airplanes with the wind up propellers? hehe yeah those ruled. My dad used to get me those all the time
