Neato!

The concert was awesome. I can now check Queensryche off of that list of 'bands I really wanted to see in HS but never got to'. Next on the list I think would be Alice Cooper, if he ever comes around again.

I *really* liked Fate's Warning, I had never heard them before (probably because at that time I ignored anything that was too 'glammy'). The singer has an amazing voice, great energy and and the songs were catchy. I want to pick up some albums.

Dream Theater, eh. I never listened to them (though I recognized the first song they played, "Pull me under" or something like that). I loved the band, didn't like the singer. Its not that he was bad, just generic and had no stage presence. I guess the band met when they were students at Berklee, it definitely shows through. Yeah, and their bassist was yummy :)

Next show is less than 2 weeks from today - Iron Maiden, Motorhead and Dio. RAWK!

Oh, and Harborlights was awesome too: roomy seats, easy to get in, cool breezes off of the water. Yup, I had a good time!

DT's done writing sessions for their next project, but nothing complete. Mike Portney (drummer, key lyricist but not their only on) and James LaBrie (singer) have had a couple of side projects which the band often do between albums/tours. No, they don't talk much during the show. The songs are too long to bother (but I like it that way...).
