Station fire

"unfortunately, to date, the legal efforts on behalf of survivors have focused exclusively on
suing the club owners and Anheiser Busch (sp?)
rather than the performers who created the disaster in the first place..."

Have *all* of them done this though? I agree there are lots of sue-happy people. I don't support them, but can feel for people that just want to get back to normal living, as possible as that is. I'm definitely going to do some more research on this group before throwing cash their way (I'm hoping this won't be too difficult since a couple of the group's members live in my town, hence the article in the local paper).

"that's something i have a hard time getting behind.
especially as a musician."

Apparently Great White is doing a tour and proceeds are going to The Station fire victims (according to this group's site). To date though, I don't think they've taken any kind of responsibility for the thing, which just makes me ill. Why the hell do you need pyrotechnics in a teeny local club? Geesh!
