What fun!

Paid bills. Put $300 into savings to add to the "pay the movers buttloads of money" pile. We have $900, but need a few hundred more since we're paying $300 to store our stuff for 2 nights, and need to tip the guys.

Today was a bag lady day. I had:
-my backpack-purse
-a cooler (with food I'm bringing to a get together tonight)
-garment bag (with a dress I'm giving someone at said get-together tonight)
-bag with clothes for me to change into
-bag with other stuff I needed for tonight

The distance just wasn't worth it . . .

Now you see, if I lived in Waltham I wouldn't have to bring my whole house with me to work. I also wouldn't have as much stupid driving around or killing time to do. I'd just go home after work, change, get my food together and go to the get-together. I'd do this after Brian came home from work at 5:30.

Instead I'm driving to Waltham and killing time at my parent's house, picking Brian up at work, and then AFTER the get-together we're coming back to Waltham so that Brian can get his car and we'll both head home. Last night I killed time in Waltham to meet him so we could get some boxes in his truck, and then drop his truck in the overnight lot that he's got the permit to park in for work. He left his truck there last night and we went to goffee in my car. This of course required him to get a ride to work with me today (which meant he had to get there at 7:00 AM rather than the regular 9:30 or so AM).

I SO won't miss this. Now anytime I pass through Waltham on the way home from somewhere (work, goffee, Boston, whatever) I think "If I lived here I'd be home now". I always thought that was a silly phrase but now, now I know.

This is just silly. I *could* go home to Framingham and wait for Brian to get home, which would make it 6:30 when we were heading out (making it later than we'd want to be leaving to get where we need to go on time). In addition - it means way more driving back and forth, back and forth. I'm going to save so much $ on gas once we move. Brian will rarely need to take a car to work. Yayyayyayyay!

Someone asked me for the day count yesterday until we close - its 12. God, I can't wait!
