Wow

Alleycat Scratch is my hero. The last time I was looking around on how to make an Arwen Coronation Crown nobody had really figured out a good way. Now there is this:

Neato! Wow, that's good :)

Here's hoping the hubby and I can do this (and have time for it). The lovely Lelia is altering my gown that was HUGE when it finally arrived after being backordered for 4 months, so no returning/exhanging for me. Brian's mail shirt is almost done, leather work is in the works. We need to get sewing the fabic/pleather parts for him.

OK, now I'm getting excited for DC. Once the Tiggerette is back we need to get working on her costumes (if she's going to want some) too. Having the new dining room set means I get my craft table (aka our kitchen table) back in the craft room. Whoot!

HEY! DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I COULD GET A STYROFOAM HEAD W/ NECK? Venus Cosmetics? Or is there someplace cheaper?

the cheap-ass way

if the styrofoam head doesn't have to be in mint condition, try the local salvation army, consignment shop, or goodwill outlet.

often, they use those for hat displays or wig displays. you can ask them if you can buy the head, and they may say yes. [livejournal.com profile] thewhitedragon needed one last halloween for a project he was doing and Goodwill sold it to him for a buck or two. :)
