CT Ren Faire pictures

Here they are http://diabolis.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=215 .

Things to note are my naughty husband (who wants to be flogged), a woman in the joust (first time I've seen it aka hawt), and an injury in the joust. The poor guy had his helmet fall off as he went down from the horse, landed face-first on the ground, and proceeded to bleed all over himself (made for one realistic battle scene)!

I really liked this fair and would like to go back again next year, taking the time to see more performers.

Also, I found my bodice. I'm going to suck it up and give Moresca a lot of money at some point to get one of these http://www.moresca.com/shopping/product_details.php?id=115&catid=30 . I really love the design and think its a good one for me given the fulless of my hips. The one I have (that I paid a lot of money for at the Sterling faire comes higher at the waist and digs into me (in addition to not having straps up top). Now, what color? Hmm . . .

And soon I'll pick up more Bedlam CDs, I love their harmonies!

that's the style of moresca that i have. i love it. some people have had complaints about them not holding up, though, but i've never had trouble with mine since 1998.

also, by Bedlam CDs, is that The Bedlam Boys?

"The Bedlam Boys?"

It looks like their website calls them Bedlam boys, but they seem to call themselves (on the website) just Bedlam, and their CDs just say Bedlam.

Either way, yep, that's them :)

Ooh! The Bedlam Boys--love them! I had a CD I borrowed of theirs, the first, which unfortunately I can't find again--I think there was some issue with copyright infringement on the songs so they couldn't put it out again. :(

Tom of Bedlam is a great song. The Crimson Pirates from NYRF, have this song on their 3rd CD called "Putrid and Disgusting"

Here's a link to their site: http://www.crimsonpirates.com
