Excitement

I'm constantly amazed how having free time again is impacting my outlook on things. Having last night free to go off and spend our gift certificates and do other random shopping was lovely. I didn't have to feel guilty about taking time away from homeworking. Its all very liberating.

Some spoils from the night:
-Clothes from Old Navy for both of us
-An electrical outlet air freshener and bath bombs from Bath + Body Works
-"Tommyland" book from Newbury Comics (to start after "If Chins Could Kill")
-Xmas ornament storage trays (my organized self loves The Container Store)!
-An artificial Xmas tree (Target Clearance, $35) for next year

I'm really looking forward to seeing people at social gatherings over the next few weeks. That, and having time to spend with Brian and mill around the house have been very therapeutic. I've had time to read! I've had time to knit! I'll have time to sew! I'm dancing again! I'm waiting for someone to pinch me and wake me up . . .

I'll have a shorter dance class tonight and then we're heading to the Chateau for dinner - toasted raviolis, here I come!

They seem to be smaller, and have less solid "stuff" in them from first view. I'll let you know how they are after I use them.

They suggested using a butter knife and breaking the thing into 4 (4 uses out of 1 bomb) which also differs from lush. I may try it with the first one and see what the result is, but my guess is that I'l want to use the whole kit and caboodle. I figured, it was free (with the gift card) so it couldn't hurt. There was nothing else I really needed to get, and bath bombs are my new addiction :)

When I get money I plan on making some. My friend Hali sent me some links to supplies. They are a HORRIBLE addiction for me. I tried the target ones, but they aren't good enough. The LUSH ones run at $6 a pop. That's a lot of money in my bathtub.

Heh, Bed, Bath and Beyond charges $8 each (!) but $21 for 3. So Lush is cheaper I guess . . .

Strangely enough I can find LUSH online cheaper than what I pay in the actual store. Amazon is really cheap.
