I'm so sorry to hear about Max. I know that he was very dear to you. Its always hard to lose a pet, especially one thats been in your life for such a long time. I'm sure Max had a great life, especially since he held out to see you. He loved you as much as you loved him. At least now you know that he is, without a doubt, not suffering.
