Our recital isn't until June, so I won't have costume pictures until then (they just arrived, so we tried them on last night to make sure that the fit was good . . . mine is fine aside from needing a hem).

The roasted chicken thing is the easiest thing ever: wash the chicken, pat dry and rub with herbs, throw some cut up potatoes, carrots, onions and garlic around the chicken (all in the dutch oven), insert thermometer with alarm, put in oven and walk away until it beeps. It takes a bit of time (its a whole bone-in chicken breast) but is so good/juicy/easy! We prepare the whole chickens that we end up with the same way.

i bet it's so much cheaper, tastier, and better for you than the store-bought rotisserie chickens. plus you get veggies!

can't wait to see the recital pics. you have the best costume pics. (i hope the kitties don't find the goodness of your velvetty costume. velvet = cat magnet! hehe.)
