I am assuming it's an electric tea kettle. If so, and you like it, could you tell me what kind it is? I'm considering getting an electric kettle. We drink a LOT of tea at our house. Thanks.

We've had one for years and LOVE it. It heats fast and auto shuts off. We like the ones with a separate kettle and base, so you can bring the water to you (the base of the kettle part does not get hot, so you can sit on a table).

I just killed the last one http://www.hamiltonbeach.com/electric-kettles-stainless-steel-kettle.html that we had for 2 years, by accidentally hitting the on/off switch (a plastic piece that stuck out near the base). I just replaced it with http://www.target.com/Oster-Brushed-Stainless-Steel-Kettle/dp/B0012S1V2A . It has a larger capacity, which I like. This model isn't cheap, but you seem to pay more for the separate base (versus having the heating element inside the kettle) and the style being bigger, fancier (stainless) and larger capacity.

These are great for tea, also heating water for cooking (and not taking up a stove burner). And it's portable for tea parties elsewhere. I'm so glad we bought one. :)
