It's Friday!
I finally painted my toes tonight to match the nails that I painted on Tuesday.
I paid off my car today! In less than 2 years of owning it! This is the first time I have ever in my life paid off a car loan! Now we can focus on paying Brian's truck down in earnest. Having 2 car payments again has not been fun.
I'm having dorky fun times revamping our finance spreadsheet to simplify it a bit, and I am giving Mint.com a try again with doing the trending for me. I had an account a while ago and canceled it, and noticed it's got way more tools to play with now.
Last night the Tiggerette and I went dress shopping (she's good at that) and I found the dress for my brother's wedding, though it needs some small alterations (the straps are too long so it falls too low on me). It's a gorgeous champagne pink color (not usually a fan of pink but this one works) and a funky 40's ish style. It also does a great job of hiding my bad farmer tan/peel/burn. Though I'd never go in there on my own the Tiggerette convinced me to give the sales rack in the back of http://www.karenmillen.com/ (Natick Collection) a try, and we found one. It was our last stop before the mall closed after trying on dresses at a ton of other places. Yay! Alas, there are no pictures of it on the website otherwise I would share.

congrats on the car payment! it's an awesome feeling. i was ecstatic when i paid off my first car. and had it another 7 years after that.
