Decorating

Brian had a bit of a cash windfall and bought a new TV. A 52" tv. In our not so large living room.

So some of our furniture and our framed photos are displaced. There will be redecorating, and he will be helping me with it. :)

I've had fun with the challenge of making things functional and appropriate for our style, and not cluttered. This is just another (albeit unplanned) chapter of this adventure.

Cripes, does it play Also Sprach Zarathustra when you turn it on?

Heh No this is Brian It's more likely either the THX Sound or the opening to Star Wars... :-)

Not yet, but it does have gigabit ethernet, so it can probably download it ;)

Holy crap that's huge! We have a 50", which I sometimes think is too big, and I think our living room is bigger than yours.

From my past, this saying: "All men are little boys, they just go on to BIGGER toys." :-) Had the same problem with the 60-incher. (No, I'm NOT saying "Mines's bigger than yours" or "Bigger is better"!!! :-) After the adjustment period for my eyes, I admit I like it better. It's nice to be spoiled with some things, and watching Sci Fi is one of them. I've noticed that even the non-HD filmed series (like B5) look clearer AND HD for some odd reason. I'm not complaining. Not to mention what it does for Avatar!
