More local talent

These guys are releasing their album today http://www.damone.net, there is an article about it here here

"The Island" is right near where my family lives (i.e. where the singer lives and hence the name of the band's new album). My bro is friends with her and I think I even brought the 2 of them (and her brother, too) to see the Rocky Horror Picture Show before. We got her dragged up on stage to do the whole virgin "show us your best pelvic thrust" thing - I think she was 13 at the time :)

I'm skipping the gym today to finish up my paper and get all together for the presentation I have to do on it. Tomorrow night after class I'm meeting up with some lovely ladies to go see my dance teachers perform at the Middle East. If you're interested in seeing women wiggle check it out (they go on at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30).

Waltham Community Farm

I know its on Beaver Street near Bentley (there's an old building that says "University of Massachusetts, Waltham" there which always suprised me). I think there's also some rose growing group that uses the land too.

I've never known anyone that volunteered there, but I've done similar work at a place in Lincoln and had a lot of fun :)
