Wow, I love especially the outfit with the wings in the Dawn contest.....

But what was the object of that contest? (Who is Dawn)

She's a character of Joe Linsner (comic creator and artist). You should be able to find pix and good info of her here: www.linsner.com (not work safe)

She's the goddess of death and rebirth in his comic series, and is Death's consort. There's lots of biblical and mythological references in there so the stories are interesting if you're into that kind of thing (but, one must also be open-minded enough to take some very non-traditional views that are expressed (like for instance, God and Lucifer are past gay lovers that now don't get along and bicker like an old married couple - in addition to Lucifer passionately missing being with his ex BF).

Some pretty amazing costumes come out of that thing for the DragonCon contest (I think there's pix of past DC costume contest winners on the linsner site too, our friend Traci was one of them in 2000).

Wow! Great pics! Thanks for sharing. I really liked your outfit, though as Spooky commented, the one with the red wings in the Dawn contest was simply awe-inspiring. Wonder how she got through doors with those wings though. Hehe :)
