Oh yeah

If anyone is considering a move to Framingham this is the house across the street that's for sale. They've dropped the price 10k since it was first posted to realtor.com already (it was listed for $309k, now its at $299k)

For reference sake, our house has 1 more room, a little less land and since I haven't been inside there I can't really compare the state of the 2 houses (I know that they have crappy windows where ours are all replacement). We bought our place for $250 in the summer of 2002. The bank assessed it for $275 this past fall. I'll be really interested to see if they get around $300K

OMG! I must be spoiled here out west, but that house wouldn't fetch much more than $100,000 in that condition/neighborhood. For that price around here you could get something like this:

heh... people here will pay 300k for a 2 bedroom condo well outside of boston :-/
