(in the Highlands, near Bickfords - this one is small but the price, location, fireplace and 3-season porch is really calling out to me - if it had a good sized basement it wouldn't be an issue getting another room in there)

edit: on second thought, the electrical service looks to be old on the one in the Highlands. Figures. That's not a project we want to get into again.

Well, the bulk of stuff (new service) the electrician did do - it cost around $5k.

Basically, we want a place we can move into and then unpack (rather than gutting the whole place and not unpacking for 3 months). Been there, done that, got the paint-stained t-shirt and don't want to go through it again :)
