As expected
We didn't get the house (they went with an offer that had no contingencies). I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles.
Back to the drawing board - it would make me feel better if more listings were popping up. I liked that retro kitchen, dammit!

what was the "retro" kitchen like again?
Retro kitchen
Ah well, We'll find something. It just gets discouraging after looking at 10 houses (basically, anything coming on the market there in our price range) and finally being excited about something only to have it not work out. I know we'll find something, but with the money we're spending I'd like to actively like that something too :)
Re: Retro kitchen

Big donkey balls. I am so sorry - just like Anders and Jay, you and Brian are a young, responsible couple who should be given every consideration. I know it is easier said than done, since what's on paper is all that matters these days. But you have certainly done your homework, and all of your effort is bound to be rewarded with good house karma. Fingers crossed!
