I can't believe its already Wednesday. Time flies when you're busy (or something).

Waterfire was beautiful even though there was a misty rain (the kind that brings with it a Jodi-Afro) and I was getting sleepy. The music was very similar to stuff I've heard from Cirque du Soleil, and it made me want to dance around (of course, nobody else was, so I kept it to myself). The hubby was in one of his rare and elusive schmoopy moods and kept reaching for *me* to give hugs (usually its the other way around). Brian and I will have to get back on some weekend to check it out when its not raining, so that he feels safe bringing the uber-digital camera.

It was also nice to see Aiden and Jhimm and finally meet their weeble - its been too long. Their place is really nice and it looks like something out of a home dec magazine with a lot of modern touches but not overdone (since I tend to be an antiques kind of gal I tend to shy away from the modern stuff but I really liked all of their things).

There's a meeting today with the CEO to discuss organization goals (they do one every quarter). There will be fake smiles, buzzwords, health care acronyms (and boy, are there are many!) and ice cream. I guess it breaks up the day, but I can only stomach so much business/corporate drivel.

So the ice cream is to numb you from the vapid content? :)

...finally meet their weeble...?

Its for "employee appreciation". They are having a meeting with the CEO at 1:30 and at 3:00 (and at 2:30 there is ice cream) . . . so I think its to motivate people just to go over there :)

"...finally meet their weeble..."

Their dog - his name is Weeble :)

how was the crowd at waterfire? i've been a few times and found it was way too crowded when warm out but decent in october when it's cold and thus people don't stay long... but i've never gone when it's borderline-rainy.

It was crowded, but not too bad. I think perhaps the combination of the rain and the fact that it was a Tuesday kept people away (?). I was just glad I didn't have to be the one to drive and park there - I'd have no clue where to go :)
