This comes at a time where I'm seeing a lot of people around me doing the "same shit, different day" kind of thing. You want to help out your friends, but how to do this eludes you. Also - I don't think I *can* help them. They need to figure it out for themselves. So in the meantime, I'm waiting . . .

Yeah - its just tough watching people you care about stubling unhappily for a long, long time :/

On a more positive note - Metallica! K is going to talk to you about it, but we thought seeing it in Waltham either Tuesday or Wednesday night this week may be good. I have an oil change appt in Natick at 5:00 tomorrow - other than that we're free. So talk to K about it, and let us know (or, have her let us know) :)
