I keep forgetting to mention

Brian and I *will* be at Arisia this year. Why? Because we're going to help try and spark up some interest in popular media sci-fi and costuming.

We'll be there Saturday manning both 501st and Rebel Legion fan tables. There will be recruiting, information, general geeking, and fundraising for http://www.heartofanempire.com/Katie/index.shtml . We'll also have recruitment video footage and other fundraising information plastered over Arisia TV (or so we've been told).

Come by and donate, buy a raffle ticket, and join the Empire and/or Rebellion! If things are successful this year we'll expand next year (thoughts are on a 'making props and armor' panel, and getting some SW celebs there).

Maybe for once I should check it out, see if it's worth building my costume for 2006. (The fabled Inuyasha character that NOONE but me has seen. I think for doing your taxes this year I'll ask hubby to get me some screen shots for costume ideas. *grins*)

It's just - full of creepy people. *shudder* who feel they have to be naked. Who shouldn't be. You know?
