Back in the day

Steve Harris from Iron Maiden on their Ozzfest experience: http://www.classicrockrevisited.com/Interviews05/steveharris.htm

It seems a testament of our times really. I wonder if a lack of good, influential, unique music has bred the numb front seat people.

*jaw drops*

You pay upwards of a 100 bucks with TicketMaster prison rape charges and you have the GALL to act bored in front of IRON F@#%NG MAIDEN?

Do you have any idea how much I would have paid if I had known they were playing the set they played? To see Phantom Of The Opera performed from 20 feet away?

I hate people.

I tried! What we got was best available. Which means that all of those uninterested folks got there before we did. It makes me even more mad.

Ah well, they'll be around again (and play longer even this time) :)

Oh, I am not casting any aspersions on your ticket purchasing efforts, hon.

But had I known about it I would have allowed the scalpers to have their way with my poor wallet.
