We're working 1/2 a day today and then heading to the Fenway. We'll have lunch at that Longhorn place and then check out Tomb. I wore my ankh earings and Egyptian musk oil in tribute. Heh!

After work I'll hit Rich's Car Tunes to check out the remote starters and CD players, eat dinner and get sewing. Here's hoping I can finish the Catwoman tonight. I'll have to pick up a black eye mask (one of those cheap, cheezy zorro-type ones) to wear with the purple one that will go over my head but is open in the front. I forgot, she carries a bull whip! Its been years since Brian and I had one around the house that he had made years ago (they really aren't that great for hitting despite their cool look). Its going to kill me to buy a crap cheezy one from a costume store, but alas, I think I may need to. Catwoman has to have a sassy weapen and all! Even picking up some cheap leather or black vinyl at a craft store, I don't think there would be a lot of time for Brian to throw one together for me . . .

If anyone wants to join me for crafting tonight let me know (even just chatting with tea and watching *me* craft, if you're into that kind of thing). It would be nice to have some company while Brian is trooping!

Yeah, its not a bullwhip or anything, but I guess it matches and all. I'll have to get a clip so I can hang it off of my belt or something . . .

you'd also have an easier time hitting people with it. and i do believe she has used cat o' 9 tails too.

Yeah, I just thought that the bull whip would be more recognizable (more modern cat women seem to prefer them). I was worried about people having no clue who she was, given its not a slinky black catsuit (heh). Though, the hat/eyes should help with that . . .

The book I have has a whole chapter on weaponry, and she did indeed use everything (save guns pretty much). I guess a CAT o' 9 tails would probably be most appropriate after all too . . .

I have a cheapo one SOMEWHERE in this house. I'm not sure where though, I seem to recall a box. I'll need a day or three to find it - when would you need it by? If I end up not at a client tonight, I can find it tonight, otherwise it's tomorrow night.

Of course, I understand if you don't want to chance me NOT finding it. *grins* I'm quite wiped out after last night, I think I'm done through next week *lol*

Thanks for the offer! I need it for this weekend for a Halloween party, so I'll just stick with the Cat 0 Nine tails we have. It matches the outfit and Brian's right, it will be easier for me to hit Conservative NEGers with ;)

NP - I think B would cringe when he saw it anyway. I recall getting it at a Party store thinking "it would come in handy" *LOL* it's fake leather and wouldn't hit anything if one tried. But it's a look.
