There is hope for him yet! The Sandweasel tells me that the Guiness Book of World Records reports the oldest cat living: "The oldest cat ever and living is Creme Puff who was born on August 3, 1967 and
turned 37 in 2004. Creme Puff lives with her owner, Jake Perry in Austin, Texas,
USA."

37? Wow! The veterinarian that I used to do design for said that, while most vets put the life expectancy of cats around 20, many are vying for 25, especially with the advent of new technologies and treatments that are providing a better quality of life for senior kitties.

That is reassuring, and I'm sure that when it comes to quality of life, Max is one lucky kitty! How has he been doing lately?
