Last night

Waiting in the cold wasn't fun, but the bout was! Here's Brian's photos: http://diabolis.net/gallery/thumbnails.php?album=280

What was weird is that due to the small size of the gym and the flat track, the gals aren't able to get as much speed as I'm used to seeing on the TV (though, I'm guessing the TXRD group is more established - they've had their own fricken huge building to use). I went in rooting for The Nutcrackers (duh) and they did win the night, but I have to admit that my townie-ness had to really appreciate the Wicked Pissahs too!

The DJ played a funny mix of tunes, I didn't hit any musicians during the Rockabilly sets (I just don't get into it) and I didn't knee the guy in front of me on the bleachers that left his butt hanging WAY over the back of his seat. All in all, a good night!

Ballet and V for Vendetta today, waking in the parade tomorrow . . .

Scratch that photo inquiry! Really ought to read my friends list before babbling! Stormtrooper photos 'R' lurvly!
Why rooting for Nutcrackers?
Also, the Pissahs posed at Kelly's on Raveeya Beach for their MyVacuumSpace photos, so they've hit a soft spot in me! (produced by a Kelly's diet, no doubt! (soft spot? fat? ha?))

Being a dancer, I'd have a definite bias to voting for the Nutcrackers. I think the Wicked Pissahs just won me over though - how could they not? :)
