Han Shot First!

And now you'll be able to buy an official, licensed DVD that shows it: http://www.starwars.com/episode-iv/release/video/news20060503.html (versus the bootleg rips from laserdisc you can buy at conventions, not that I know anyone that owns one, nope!).

It was only a matter of time, because you know that SW fans will buy anything Lucas packages and puts on the shelves! :)

In other news, Jason and Grant from TAPS (Ghosthunters TV show) will be at DragonCon. Whoot! Its funny, meeting a couple of guys from RI in GA! :)

What's this about buying bootlegs at conventions? Isn't that what bit torrent is for? Not that I'd know anything about that or anything...

All I have to say though is it's about time!

Finally I can sleep soundly knowing that my children will know that Han shot first.

Who shot what now?

*chuckle*, I know someone who owns a laserdisc player and the 12" laserdisc of the original, just so they could have an unaltered original digital copy. Actually, I think I even sold him the laserdisc player back in '87 or '88, when they were cool.

I'm so out of the loop, I had to go to wikipedia to find out what Lucas did to Han. I haven't seen the new version.
