Pictures are done!

I worked a half day, met the lovely Devina for lunch and finished sorting through my parent's pictures. Its something productive, right? I had great plans of painting (too humid), wedding (too hot and then too rainy), going to Lush (see former comments on the weather) and cooking (too hot - I made the pasta salad, but no deviled eggs). Man, I'm feeling super blah. I want to be active and the weather just isn't cooperating. Perhaps its mother nature's way of telling me to chill the fuck out, but I'm feeling very lazy.

Ah well. I wanted to post about my photo accomplishment. 4 boxes of albums now fit into 1 rubbermaid container (in acid free containers that won't kill them like some of the old albums did to some of the photos).

Man, its pouring, thundering and lightning!

Huh, we literally just got the rain, and it's an hour and a half after you posted this. Interesting.

Congrats on getting your photos sorted! And I think you meant weeding, right? Obviously, the word "wedding" made me stop and go, "What?" :-)

No, I was sorting ALL of my parent's family photos. They are prepping to move, and needed them safely stored. A lot of them were old polaroids in old acid laden albums . . . so I've been sorting them by general category and putting them into boxes that are safe for long time archival storage :)
