Mr. Butch

Jedi posted about the death of http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mr._Butch . Damn. I remember him from hanging outside of The Rat at all-age Hardcore or Ska shows. I was probably 16/17 the last time I saw him. It was definitely pre-college and pre him being booted out of Kenmore Square.

My life now is so different than how it was then. Its not worse or better - just different - but sometimes I forget about that life. Every once in a while something will come up that reminds me so clearly of that time. I don't want to go back there, but I'm so glad I visited while I did.

I remember Mr. Butch. He was in a bad way for a while, I'd see him stumbling across Allston living his hard life. You couldn't help but like him though. I don't know anyone who didn't like him.
