Slow Cookers

Do you have a slow cooker you like? My crockpot liner is super cracked, and googling around a bit has taught me that finding a replacement liner for it is next to impossible and that the thing has had lots of complaints by folks anyway.

EDIT: or should I just (finally) invest in a good dutch oven? Have a favorite?

Thanks in advance! :)

I love my Dutch oven. It's by Club, I think, and I inherited it from my mother. Of course, Le Cruset is the bomb, but you're pay for it. Dutch ovens are bulletproof, but they serve a bit of a different purpose than a Crock Pot. There are many Crock Pots out there now with so many bells and whistles, that getting a new one shouldn't be too awful; one option, too, would be to check Building 19 or Job Lots to see if they have crock liners sitting around.

I've only had Rival Crock Pots, but then again, I've had nothing but the basic design, and don't push them too hard. So my opinion is probably not that special. :)

You might be able to get a crock pot at a thrift store.

I love my Le Cruset, but I've heard great things about Lodge, which are only a fraction of the cost. You're not going to be able to set it up to cook all day while you're at work like you can with a crockpot, though. I have a 7qt, and I use the heck out of it.

I have the ginormous Rival crockpot, but I've only used it twice, so I can't exactly give it a rave review. It did have rave reviews online though - I triple checked everything before I put it on the registry list. :) It came from Target, and if I'm remembering correctly wasn't that expensive.

I have this, and use it all the time.

The nice thing about it is that it works just as well half full than completely full.

My dutch oven I got at Building 19 about two years ago. It was a no-name brand, but it's great for me. About 1/3 the size of the Rival...

I agree with the Rival crockpots. I have a very large one with dual inserts that I use at least once a week. I love it!

Or should that be, "Just say no to Crock?"

I lurve my Hamilton Beach Stay or Go Cooker, 6 qt. I use it once a week, and it has not let me down yet!
