A coworker of mine volunteers at http://www.wmcc.us/ in Medford. They are having a day (2/21) to bring in the electronics that you'd normally have to pay your city to take away. There's a discounted price for drop-off to them on this day and will be other things going on (bake sale, activities). In addition they are taking for (no fee):
cell phones
ink jet and laser printer cartridges
laptops/notebook computers
ipods
digital cameras (photo and video)

Its all tax deductible, so if you have these things to rid yourself of, please check out the link for more details.
