My winter boots are from Payless, lol, but I only wear them when trudging through snow, which isn't that often, so I didn't see the point in spending lots on them. My waterproof hiking boots are Timberland though, and I honestly need a new pair. The uppers are fine, but the soles are smooth and the padding is shot. Maybe one of these days...
