Progression
Mar. 12th, 2001 10:52 am"Perseverance is not a long race, it is many short races one after another (Walter Elliott)". I guess that this quotation sums up my life lately (in reference, to my previous post). I'm taking it all one thing at a time.
The bunny had two trips to the vet this weekend but he's starting to eat and poop again. We'll have to keep an eye on him and give the vet a call if things are still weird in a couple of days.
Tiamat Lady took our tax stuff home with her on Saturday to see if there is any possible way we can either come out even, or not owe as much to the Feds. She is so sweet - she brought me some pink roses to cheer me up which are hanging up to dry in our back hall.
My car is in the shop this morning and the problems have been diagnosed. I need a new radiator hose and shift indicator. Parts are being ordered and it will cost me around $350 to get the work done once the parts arrive. After all of this my car definitely deserves a good wash and vacuum once the weather warms up!
I had to reschedule a dentist appointment that I was supposed to have today (don't have a car to get there). And I needed to order a new ID to get into the building at work since I lost mine for the first time in four fr*cken years.
Breathe, sip some tea and listen to relaxing music. The Smiths "Louder than Bombs" is another album that reminds me of a more simple time.

Despite the things that I ranted about on Saturday I did have a lot of fun this weekend. Friday I did some posing for more pictures with B and the digital camera. On Saturday we went searching for silly heavy metal paraphernalia for Skaven's birthday at Rockit Records in Saugus. Sunday, we took a trip to Mass Merchandise Mart and Building 19 (Lynn, Lynn, City of sin!). The weekend ended by celebrating Mardi Gras a bit late (Jordan's Furniture style) with dinner at Kelley's. B and I ordered a new entertainment center to be delivered in 1-4 weeks. We've been shopping around since we moved into the apartment over two years ago and we've finally found one that we both like (more details and perhaps a picture will be posted here later).

I am determined to go to Ceremony tonight - I need to go dancing! B and I have decided that even if one of us is dead the other will drag the corpse to the club! We're both getting a bit stir crazy J
