So I got another alum interview in (over the phone) for school. My paper is (finally) starting to come together. Its due on Monday (so I need to kick total butt on it today, Sunday and on Monday during the day).
I had the phone interview with http://www.doctor-driven.net/about_mdhawkeye.htm in Lexington. Its sounds like the job could be really neat though its more technically based than the other things I've been looking at. It was the CIO that I was talking with (for almost an hour) and again small world, he knows people that I used to work with. The money would be REALLY good and the location would be good (they are actually moving closer to where I live in January). they'd be looking for someone to start in January. They are a really small office (17 people) and he kept stressing their flexibility and their room to grow. If I went there he said I'd most likely be managing/supervising people in a couple of years (as new analysts were hired). Theres some other positions they are also hiring for that are more people-oriented; he's going to pass on my resume to the person interviewing for that job too and have them give me a call.
He's doing more screening over the phone and then will be setting up the first face-to-face interviews (which he said they'd definitely be calling me about to set up). Whoot.

I guess if anything this interview experience is teaching me about all of the different things out there in the industry, which can't hurt.
Now off to lunch (and then more homework) - and to give you all a break from my rambling.
