Okay, I'm feeling better today. And I really underestimate my academic ability at times. Its 9:16 AM according to my computer clock and I'm almost done with the paper (probably have about one more hour to work on it). Then I need to do all the reading for today's class (which will probably take an hour or two) and then aside from showering and getting some pet supplies the day is mine.
Once I balance my checkbook and pay some new bills that arrived last week I'm going to see if I'll have some $ to pick up a pattern and some fabric for my nephew's Xmas present. I usually make him some kind of fleece jacket each year which he gets really attached to and I'd LOVE to make it this year out of some kind of halloweenie fabric with bats on it. I know that http://www.fabricplace.com/scripts/ down the street (in walking distance, rock!) is having a sale this week and there's a JoAnne's fabric about 10 minutes away too. And Michael's, and AC Moore. I'm not a big shopper but its nice having so many craft stores nearby.
I've decided that with this free time I'm going to take inventory of all the winter holiday gifts I've collected thus far, make lists and try to get the shopping/sewing/crafting out of the way before starting the next job. Then I can take any free time to do fun things like seeing friends or dancing.
This is my most favorite, favorite time of year. This Thursday I'm looking forward to seeing lots of kids in neat costumes, watching the Peanuts "Great Pumpkin" episode that we bought on DVD last year and feeling the energy in the air.
