I'm leaving work at 2:30 to go to the retirement party for my old adviser at Simmons. Here's hoping the parking fairy blesses me (since they aren't allowing parking at the school lot, fsckers!).
I'm not going to see LSL and Avon tie the knot, since this was a busy, tiring weekend, and I'll be going tomorrow non-stop (having to go to a Partners meeting regarding Electronic Medical Records after work from 5:30 - 8). I wish them all the love, happiness and luck in the world for them and their impending Sprout :)
I'm very happy to be a Massachusetts resident today. I've always had pride in my state (and hometown, duh) for various reasons. Today - it almost makes me want to cry in a happy schmoopy way.
Punk Rock aerobics kicked our asses on Saturday but DAMN did it feel good. I want to try and go this coming weekend. This will all be easier once we move to Waltham (going from Framingham-Cambridge-Framingham-Brighton-Cambridge-Framingham in one day was just too much for my car. I can't wait till we're closer to everything).
B and I are getting increasingly excited about the move. We're packing, we're planning, we've picked out paint colors and DAMMIT, can't the seller of the Waltham house just get his closing in Arlington confirmed? Its been almost a week (tomorrow is a week) since we've asked him and its < 1 month now till the hopeful closing date. Our poor mortgage guy wants to get the title pulled. I think we have to ask Ken to lay the smack down ;)
