Its Friday, yay!

KITCHEN:
I'm bidding on a fan on e-bay - the same fan we bought for the new kitchen in Framingham. For whatever reason Home Depot sells all the lights of that series *but* the fan. After poking on e-bay a bit it seems they are all going for around the same amount (basically, what they went for at Home Depot). I really want them again, so I'll just suck up the shipping $. The auction ends in 25 minutes, we shall see!

TODAY/TONIGHT:
The meeting this morning went well and the head doc asked how I was doing in my first week alone, and once again reaffirmed his confidence in me. I came back to the office from Melrose to see the start of the snow. I think the weather tonight will tell if we end up at Exmortis or not. Part of me wants to dress up, go dancing and see friends (though most of our friends probably won't be there, hrm). Part of me wants to go for dinner and snuggle in the house with a movie and some cocoa.

I won the bid and got the fan. Here's the pic of it in our old house:

We have 4 other lights in the kitchen. Three are really ugly and we want to replace. The other isn't ugly . . . but it wouldn't really match the other lights.

In front of the chimney we'd put the adjustable mini pendant light.

Above our fridge we'd put the semi flush light

Over our sink we'd put the sconce.

Here's the 4th light. Its not offensive and is kind of out of the way, but it wouldn't match. Another ceiling mount one could possibly go there.
