The AC in my car hasn't been working for the last few weeks. Read more... )

I'm also not feeling like going to ballet class on the 3rd floor in this weather. We shall see. Summer classes aren't mandatory as the ones during the year are. If we miss, we don't need to pay.

Brian and I finally caught Charlie and the Chocolate factory last night. Is there such a thing as a bad Johnny Depp movie? I loved this, and in some ways more than the original. Of course, I always love Tim Burton movies. I think he did a better job at expressing the emotions and histories of the characters. The Ooompa Loompa songs were a riot, and Burton always provides a lot of eye candy. It was totally worth the late night and only 5 hours of sleep.

You know its dedication when you leave your air conditioned office to head to Newbury Comics on your lunch break to grab an album for a band just so you can make sure that you get a copy of the free EP that according to the Newbury Comics' e-mail this morning said that there were only 5 copies of per store (I counted 8 in Saugus). Oh yeah, don't forget - in the car with the busted AC (blech)!

A review in the Herald:

I'm liking what I've heard thus far. They did a new version of "Where I Wanna Be" on the EP w/ different words - that's going to be odd to get used to. It looks like 2 new songs on the regular disk and 3.5 (counting that new version of "Where I Wanna Be" as .5) on the EP. Not too shabby considering that Ryko wanted to release the older stuff, hence the EP.
