After dinner last night we were in a mood to go out somewhere, but couldn't quite figure out where. I think after the holiday bustle I'm having issues settling into 'normal' life again. There is plenty to do, but I forget about it or just aren't in the mood.

I'm not a big TV person but some of the shows we record were back this week, so we snuggled on the couch and caught up on Castle (mmm, Laura Prepon), V and Parenthood. I think this may be a good way to do it to prevent brain rot, make a conscious decision to watch these on 1 or 2 days a week, rather than just vegetating in front of the TV.

Brian is gaming tonight with the guys, I'm so glad that he's getting back into playing with his little men. I'm going to spend the night in the craft room sewing, knitting and listening to music (hopefully accompanied by some cats).

Snow this weekend, but it sounds like it will be an easy storm. Brian has an appointment in Harvard Square for his fabulous gay haircut. It's been a while since we've bundled up, bussed it in there and just spent some time wandering, so that may be a nice thing to do for a change. I'm sorry to say that I've never been to the http://www.hmnh.harvard.edu/ and they are open until 5:00, so maybe it would be a good day to finally check them out? Though, I know that they are free on Sunday mornings, so perhaps that would be a better time to go. Getting Brian up on a Sunday morning however, perhaps more difficult than paying the admission. :)

Unfortunately his appointment means that we'll miss the first of the Winter Farmer's markets at http://www.russellsgardencenter.com/wayland_winter_mkt.html . Is anyone aware of any other Boston-area markets at this time of the year?

I did dig out some stickers last night for Brian and I to use on our kitchen calendar. If we work out doing something that day, we'll put a sticker there (I have a ton of bunny and hello kitty stickers and he's got some knights and dragons, so that we can differentiate). I'll share a picture of the calendar each month as we progress. I can't hit the gym today because I have a lunchtime appointment, so I'll do a yoga or pilates workout at home tonight. I heart my exercise DVDs. One of these days I may track down the classic Jane Fonda one from the 80s on DVD - we spent HOURS using that in it's VHS format. I found it to be a good, varied allaround workout. And legwarmers - enough said http://www.amazon.com/Workout-Starring-Jane-Fonda/dp/B00066J4PU/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1294321057&sr=8-5!
