Happy Anniversary
Apr. 10th, 2011 09:36 pmBrian and I spent today wandering, doing stuff we like for our 12th wedding anniversary.
We had brunch at http://florarestaurant.com/ and drove the long, backroadsey way to Salem, MA, like we used to do early on in our relationship. Brian commented on how far he has come from his old hood and old life as we drove through its geographic locations. Some of these memories are his and some we share together.
We wandered in Salem, each picking up appropriate goodies. He got the animated Fordo figure he's been looking for since he made the costume at http://www.harrisonscomics.net/ and I picked up the new rose perfume mix from http://www.aromasanctum.com/. It was a perfect day for wandering in the Witch City!
We headed home via Route 1 to wave to the big orange dinosaur http://www.theorangedinosaur.com/ , though it was too late for mini-golfing. We detoured by Sewfisticated fabrics in Cambridge for new Visla jumpsuit fabric (alas, nothing) and then went to http://www.annastaqueria.com/ for dinner, right around the time that http://www.redbones.com/ was having some kind of (minor) fire going on.
We headed home after dinner, but after catching up with my Mom on the phone and sitting for a bit I had shared the old-fashioned shaving bunnies commercial with him http://artofmanliness.com/trunk/896/old-fashioned-shaving-bunnies/ , he demanded ice cream. To http://www.lizzysicecream.com/ we went to wait in their huge line (even though it was 9:00 PM on a Sunday) to end our spectacular day.
I am ready to return to work tomorrow!
