I'm nearing 20 weeks where I'm not supposed to sleep on my back anymore. It can put pressure on a particular nerve and make me pass out, so I need to get in the habit of side-sleeping.
I do have a good side-sleeper pillow that I have yet to switch out with my back sleeper. Though, I did buy one of those pregnancy body pillows too http://shopboppy.com/shop/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=2&products_id=15. It's kind of like a big c-shaped pillow to support your head, belly, and go between your knees to properly align your hips.
Since I'm a ballet dancer posture is important to me. As is sleep. As is trying to minimize pain as much as possible.
The problem is, my freaking shoulder hurts the way I sleep on this! I can't get my arm/shoulder in a good position.
I'll keep plugging along. If this is the worst of my complaints right now I'm doing pretty good.
Less than a week from today, of baby is cooperating with its position we will know if we are having a girl or a boy. Nutso!
