This week has flown by! I've been busy at work and I feel like we've done a lot at home. We are both so happy to be back.
We visited our first daycare center and did like them. On the one hand I'm happy with them and on the other I feel we should at least compare to something? They e-mailed me their 42-page policy handbook to look over and will send some reference information over for us to check out. A friend who works for the State is digging into their licensure history for us and is going to send us a report on past issues/complaints.
If all goes well, we'll be checking out the http://www.hauntedship.com/flash/index.html tonight.
We'll get some productive things done at home tomorrow and then go to a friend's pumpkin carving party in NH. Sunday is the Woburn Halloween parade. My plan is to wrangle in civvies, but I have a spot for myself to ride in the truck that's piping our music if that's too much for me. The walk is flat and isn't long (about 2 miles) but you never know how swollen my feet are going to be.
Time just flies. I can't believe that Halloween is Monday. Thanksgiving plans are in full swing: we'll be hosting a small group at our house as we usually do. And I WILL see that new Muppet movie, hopefully on opening night (least of all, opening weekend).
