A note from our farmer

Brian and I have belonged to a meat CSA http://www.chestnutfarms.org/ for a few years now. We love being a part of Kim and Rich's extended farm family and look forward to their monthly e-mail updates. From time to time I have shared them here, this one I think is most intersting because it touches on a few areas: slaughtering, raising animals as family, and the impact of federal law on the small family farm.
