"I just noticed your rabbit's names. Absolutely adorable! Batty and Praline! Fabulous!"
Usually my bunnies have had pretty boring names - these guys I think are the most creative.
We got praline as a companion to our Flopsy (RIP) after a trip to New Orleans. After eating Pralines all week long and getting a bun that was white and butterscotch colored, we had to name her that :)
Batty is, well black. But he also appears to be a part lop, part non-lop (he's got large lop-shaped ears but they never hang down or up . . . they just stick out to the sides like bat wings) :)
My cat has a completely unoriginal name, Max (its what he had as a name at the shelter when I got him when I was like 9 years old).
The names are definitely terrific. I especially like "Batty", as I'm quite fond of black rabbits. Praline is adorable too though (very unique in coloring), as we used to have a lop that looked quite similar to her named "Rush", although Rush was white with grayish coloring mixed in...but mostly white.
Max sounds cute too. My goodness you have had him for a long time (although I'm not quite sure how old you are...but I suspect you are younger than me. drat!). heh heh
Gosh I wish you didn't live so far away. I'm in the Carolinas and always wish I lived back up north again (I'm from Long Island). Miss it! ;)
If I've said it once, I'll say it again....I adore your style girl! You rock!
