i know to some it's the arch enemy, but for situations like this, i can not recommend ikea enough. they will have a new haven store in the fall.
http://www.ikea-usa.com has both products available for online purchase - shipping is a bitch though - and also has an interactive part that has their whole catalog.
they do some amazing things with the collapsable table, but don't think they have a pull-out table like your'e looking for.

home depot also has some basic white laminated wardrobes if you're looking for really inexpensive.
