I had my car inspected during my lunch hour today. I can't believe I've had Hedwig for a year! I'm looking forward to taking her cruising on Thursday on our journey to the White Mountains.
My first two-hour serger class is on Wednesday at The Fabric Place (and the second the following week). I'm hoping it will help me be a bit less intimidated of the thing so that I can get some more use out of it. I'm committing to my next two sewing projects: a Victorian-styled dress and a flattering Star Wars female costume. I'm not sure what yet: nothing like the metal bikini, but something more tailored than the Leia ANH mu-mu or the female Tusken birka! I need to spend some time looking at our copy of Dressing the Galaxy and poking around on the intorweb first.
